Diversity & Equity Audits

This consultation-based package offers a deep interrogation into the policies and practices undergirding the work of educational institutions and organizations. This package will also provide a range of focus groups with students, teachers, and staff to uncover the various ways policies and practices help and/or hinder efforts toward diversity and equity. All information gathered from our investigation will be compiled into a report outlining our findings in addition to a set of recommendations for improving equitable policies and practices.

Interactive Workshops with Teachers and Staff

Rooted in an anti-deficit framework, our workshops are designed to assist teachers and staff in their work with racially minoritized students by offering frameworks and practices for engaging students in love-based culturally-relevant approaches. Our interactive workshops are intentionally reflexive and will push educators to consider how various forms of systemic oppression embedded in curricula, policies, and schooling practices lead to inequitable experiences for racially minoritized students. Interactive workshops can range from 60 -90 minutes and will always include post-workshop exercises for organizations to continue working towards.

Inspirational Keynotes

This service is traditionally provided to students, but can be adapted for teachers/staff. Through the art of vulnerable storytelling, we share with students how to use their voices, discover their passions, and exercise their gifts. All keynotes are interactive in nature and will leave students with a range of thought-provoking ideas and an increased understanding of how to leverage communion as a framework for navigating school and life.

For teachers and staff, we offer keynotes on a range of topics including diversity, equity, and inclusion. We foreground the practice of love within every keynote. Through the art of vulnerable storytelling, we provide educators with innovative methods for working with racially/ethnically minoritized students.

Advising and Support with Student Groups

This service can be offered to educational organizations with various student constituent groups looking for support in two distinct ways. We can offer guidance to students in creating a vision for a student organization or club. We can also lead discussion-based groups on various topics, including identity, wellness, mental health, masculinity, and self-love. This can be a one-time consultation service provided to the student group, a set of training for student leaders or an ongoing space of support as students process complex topics and issues. Any student group with a mission related to diversity, inclusion, and equity would qualify for partnership.
